Tow Law Royal Arch Chapter

For over 85 years a convocation of Royal Arch Chapter companions has gathered for meetings at Tow Law Masonic Hall.

The Companions of Tow Law Royal Arch Chapter 3349 meet on the 2nd Tuesday in February, April, June, September and November.

There are 3 degrees in Craft Masonry and Royal Arch Chapter is lateral in that it expands on the information and experience gained by the candidate during his 3rd degree ceremony, leading him from the practical to the spiritual.

Master Masons are encouraged to become Companions of a Royal Arch Chapter. The Royal Arch and Craft Lodges are closely aligned. The Duke of Kent is both Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of England and Grand Superintendent of Supreme Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Chapter of England.  In the Province of Durham John Arthur holds office both as Provincial Grand Master and Most Excellent Grand Superintendent of Durham.

A pre-requisite of being a Royal Arch Companion is that at least 30 days has passed since you were raised as a Master Mason.
